In the organization of the representative office of the Croatian Chamber of Economy in Austria, and in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia and with the support of the Ministry of Demography and Immigration, on Thursday, October 24, in the hall “Novum” in Vienna, a meeting entitled “Return to Croatia – Opportunity for employment in successful Croatian companies”.
A large number of the Croatian diaspora in Austria responded to the event, which was also attended and participated by high-ranking representatives from Croatia: Ph.D. Tomislav Radoš, vice president of HGK, Ivana Perkušić, acting Director of the Administration for the Implementation of Public Policies for Immigration, Ministry of Demography and Immigration, Ivana Mehle, Deputy Director of the Croatian Employment Service, Goran Šaravanja, Chief Economist of the HGK, Dario Magdić, Deputy State Secretary of the Central State Office for Croats Outside the Republic of Croatia…
After the opening remarks, the panel “What has changed and why is it worth returning?” followed, led by Marina Rožić, general secretary of HGK, while the following panelists were: Ivana Perkušić, acting director of the Administration for the Implementation of Public Policies for Immigration, Ministry of Demography and Immigration, Ivana Mehle, deputy director of the Croatian Employment Service, Goran Šaravanja, chief economist of HGK and M.Sc. Anđelko Kašcel, founder and advisor to the management of the company “Laser Inženjering d.o.o.”.
In the second part of the forum, there was a presentation of companies from Croatia on stage:
• “Kamgrad” – Hrvoje Patekar, project manager and Petra Kralj, human resources manager
• “Viktor Lenac Shipyard” – Aleksandar Jurčević, HR manager
• “Auto Croatia” – Alen Vuksan – Ćusa, executive director for the passenger vehicle program
• “AB construction” – Mario Janžetić and Maja Janžetić Macan.
While the third part of the forum was intended for information and discussions, as well as networking, at which, in addition to the above, the following exhibiting companies were also present:
