President of the Republic Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, President of the Croatian Parliament Gordan Jandroković and Prime Minister Andrej Plenković laid wreaths and set candles on Mirogoj on the occasion of the Statehood Day commemorated on 25 June 1991, when the Croatian Parliament passed a historic decision on Initiating the process of separation from other republics of the then SFRY.
The leaders of the state wreath were laid at the monument Voice of the Croatian Victim – The Wall of Pain, the Central Cross in the Alley of the Croatian war veterans, the grave of the first Croatian President dr. Franjo Tudjman and the Joint Tomb for unidentified victims from the Homeland War at the Crematorium.
