Inspiration
The very name Ikador, meaning “golden Ika”, was inspired by the unique historical heritage of the Opatija Riviera and the golden era dating back to the end of the 19th century. Not only was Opatija an official healing resort for European Royals, it was also a place where famous artists, writers and composers such as Puccini or Mahler returned over and over in search of new inspirations.
