Elections for the new HUP president
This position is currently held by Mihael Furjan, the CEO of Pliva, but as Furjan recently announced his retirement from the top position in the largest pharmaceutical company, HUP will very soon find itself in the position of electing its new president. In just over a month, the next elections for the president of the association will be held. This is Furjan’s second consecutive term, and in the last elections he had an opponent, co-founder and member of the Algebra Board of Directors Hrvoje Balen.
In addition to the members of the Executive Board, the Council of Members also elected members of the Supervisory Board, which for the next four years will include Ante Mandić, President of the Management Board of Petrol, Petar Šimić, President of the Management Board of Primacošped, and Danko Sučević, co-founder of Lider media, who will also be the president of this body that oversees the financial operations of the Croatian Employers’ Association and branch associations, and the disposal of the association’s funds.
