The European Organisation European Best Destinations (EBD) has once again organized their annual competition for the best European destination, and the charming Croatian town of Cavtat is among the 20 European destinations nominated this year.
Alongside Cavtat, the other destinations this year are Vienna, Rome, Kefalonia, Paris, Lofoten, Canary Islands, Gibraltar, Capri, Cornwall, Dordogne River Valley, Tahiti, Soča River Valley, Tubingen, Cappadokia, Gent, Kotor, Sibiu, Braga and Florence.
Voting is taking place from January 20th to February 10th and you can vote via this link
Also, following coronavirus incident rates in Europe, the EBD also granted the right to use the logo “European Safest Destinations 2021” to destinations with an extremely small incidence of COVID-19, and given the good epidemiological situation from the very beginning of the pandemic, Cavtat received this designation, i.e. to be used as an additional tool for promoting the destination.
In 2019, Cavtat was also among the nominees and finished in the TOP 10.
