According to the system “eVisitor”, which includes tourism growth in commercial and non-commercial facilities and nautical charter during the first six months in Croatia is recorded 5.7 million arrivals and 22.9 million rates.Compared with the same period last year this is a rise in arrivals of 22 percent in overnight stays by 23 percent!
Of the total number of arrivals and overnight stays by foreign tourists accounted for 4.8 million arrivals (+ 24 percent) and 20 million overnight stays (+24 percent), and increases recorded and domestic tourists with a growth of 14 percent in arrivals and 20 percent in overnight stays.
Thus, from January to June most nights realized in Istria (6.82 million nights), Kvarner (3.92 million overnight stays), and in Split-Dalmatia County (3.88 million nights). Followed by Dubrovnik-Neretva County with 2:36 million nights, Zadar with 28.2 million overnight stays, Sibenik-Knin with 23.1 million overnight stays, Zagreb with 961 thousand nights, and Lika-with 615,000 overnight stays. On the continent, excluding the city of Zagreb, total recorded 800,000 overnight stays.
