The Day of German Unity, the German national holiday celebrating the reunification of Germany on October 3, 1990, is celebrated in Croatia by the welcome of German Ambassador Thomas E. Schultze on October 3, 2017 at the French Pavilion of the Student Center in Zagreb. The event was attended by a large number of politicians, economists, diplomats, cultures, etc.
On the occasion of this event, Ambassador Schultze said: “The celebration in the French Pavilion should be a symbol of what we have achieved in Europe. German reunification is largely linked to Europe: reconciliation in Europe, between people of different countries, with our neighbors, and of course with our French friends. We should not forget the achievements of European unity: freedom, peace, prosperity, security; nor the closely related common values to which we are committed, for which, for example, the rule of law is the same as respect for human dignity “, Ambassador Schultze said.
