The German-Croatian Industrial and Chamber of Commerce opened its first branch outside of Zagreb. The Honorable Representative of the German-Croatian Industrial and Trade Chamber for the Dalmatian Region was named Denis Rubić, an entrepreneur who has been actively promoting German-Croatian economic relations for years.
The German-Croatian Chamber of Industry and Commerce has its members and all other stakeholders interested in the German-Croatian economic exchange available from Dalmatia as well. On 20 July, the Chamber opened its first honorary office in Split – Split – its first branch outside Zagreb. The Honorary Representative of the Chamber for the Dalmatian Region is Denis Rubić, a longtime member of the Chamber, who has been actively promoting the German-Croatian economic relations for years and who has been a member of the Chamber’s Board for four years. Rubić was appointed by the President of the Management Board of the German-Croatian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Nicolas Baron Adamovich and the Director of the Chamber at the Gunther Neubert’s departure at the reception at the Split Hotel Slavija.
By opening a representative office in Dalmatia The German-Croatian Industrial and Chamber of Commerce wants to increase its presence throughout the country and the choice of the second largest city in Croatia as a headquarters is therefore not a coincidence because it is a key location for achieving this goal, said Adamovich. The main tasks of the Chamber will be to foster economic relations between Dalmatian companies and the Federal Republic of Germany and the commitment to stronger engagement of German companies in Dalmatia, as well as the construction and maintenance of the network with Dalmatian institutions and companies active in this region, said Adamovich. Expressed satisfaction with the fact that Chamber of Commerce and its Split Representative was supported by Split-Dalmatia County Blaženko Boban and representatives of the city of Split. An important role in building a network, emphasized the chairman of the board, will play networking events and chamber seminars. Finally, Adamovic emphasized the pragmatic side of opening a representative office in Dalmatia: it will certainly speed up and facilitate communication at the local level. After the appointment of Denis Rubic’s charter, numerous guests – representatives of companies and institutions – exchanged experiences and opinions in the relaxed atmosphere and pleasant ambience of the hotel Slavonia and arranged for future cooperation.
